Failure comes before Success

People says success is natural. Some says effort is the key for success. Well, natural success is true, but not all are born naturally successful. The key is effort and to me effort is where you tried your best on something. When trying, the word ‘try’ is familiar isn’t it? According to what you have seen and experienced, how many percent has succeed their first try on something? Well, I’ve seen 20% who succeed their first time. Then this 20% is a natural success on what they do. The other 80% needs effort. When you didn’t succeed your first try, what did you call it? You call it a failure. You have two options when you fail. You can either say “i’m not born for this, or you can say i have to try harder”.

Before I agree with this theory I made, I tried this theory my self. I tried, gaming tournament, ICT competition, robotech, photography competition, grapic designing competition, video making competition and etc. I have tried and I mostly failed the first time except all computer related. I may be born to be a success on computer or maybe when I was a kid I was indirectly taught by my father about computers. So, I don’t really believe on natural born success. This theory, applies to anyone and any occupations. I have seen two types of Chef. The natural born chef and the chef who needs effort. Both chef works on a five star restaurant and they will accept foods that isn’t ‘a la carte’. The natural born success is good at ‘a la carte’. The kitchen crew calls the food from the menu itself as ‘a la carte’. He is confident and knows how to cook what’s on the menu. Then this chef who needs effort, can also cooks ‘a la carte’. Customer came and one of them asked for a french fries and gravy. It’s not on the ‘a la carte’ so, the waiter reports the supervisor and they gave the recipe to the two demi chef. They both cooks the gravy and when it’s done the head chef and supervisor will taste it. The natural born chef exactly follows the recipe, while the chef who needs recipe follows the recipe but through experience he remembers the taste of a Gravy from another restaurant. So he took a risk and tweak a bit of the recipe. When their gravy are tasted, surprisingly natural born chef tasted better. So, they served the natural born chef’s gravy. I went to the backdoor of the restaurant and taste the two gravy. Yes, natural born chef has a better gravy due to perfect timing and blending of ingredients. The next day, the chef who needs effort tried making the gravy again and let me and one kitchen driver taste it. Still doesn’t taste better then the natural born chef. Surprisingly the chef who needs effort has better gravy the next week just because a better tweak and better blending. It was spicy, and saucy. We loved it and gave the supervisor a try. Which made him decide to put a couple of new menu with gravy to the ‘a la carte’. That gravy will now be made only by, the chef with effort.
